Wisconsin Assembly Bill 510 would not only require schools to consult parents on any name or pronoun change requested by a student (thus potentially outing them and putting them at risk of abuse), it would also require schools to notify parents in advance of all surveys, questionnaires, or curriculum touching on any "controversial subject” and would allow parents to opt their kids out of such content. Such subjects would include “gender identity, sexual orientation, racial identity, structural, systemic, or institutional racism, or content not age-appropriate”

The bill would also allow a parent denied any of these "rights" to bring a civil lawsuit against the government to receive various kinda of monetary relief. Contact Your Legislators!
